indian head massage

also known in hindi as "champi", this traditional massage is based on ancient (ayurvedic) healing from india.
it is a simple and incredibly relaxing massage of upper back, shoulders, arms, neck, scalp, face and ears. indian head massage is based on ancient (ayurvedic) healing which has been taught in india and other asian countries for more than five thousands years. it has a long tradition in indian families, mothers would stroke their daughters' hair to promote its strong, healthy, lustrous growth. the modern father of indian head massage, narendra mehta, studied "champissage" in his native india and brought his technique to the uk in the 1980's. he had developed the "champi" and extended it to incorporate shoulders, neck, and face. the massage is safe, simple and very effective to give, without the need to undress or use oils. it can provide relief from aches and pains, stress symptoms, insomnia, promote hair growth, soothe, comfort and rebalance your energy flow which gives you a deep sense of peace, calm and tranquillity.

a day for the inner child

if we want to live our adult life with truth, love, joy and playfulness, we need to turn inwards and reconnect with our inner child. this child was born full of sensitivity, in connection with existence and people.
this healing day will support and nourish communication and union between the positiv adult in us- our logical, rational, protective and responsable part - and the child which lives inside of us and which is so ready to enrich our life with his innocence, spontaneity, creativity and sense of humor.

"the child never dies in anyone. it is not that the child dies when you grow, the child remains. everything that you have been is still within you and will remain within you until your very last breath." (osho)

a morning or afternoon of meditation (3½ hours)

*meditationes for busy people
*active meditation
*guided meditation
*tools for relaxation

it is important to understand that "meditation" is simply being aware of what is happening both within and around us. so ultimately, this is just a natural part of everything we do, twenty-four hours a day. meditation methods are designed to help you first learn that knack, until the watcher inside becomes strong enough to become a natural part of your everyday life.

it's good to find the method that works best for you, given your particular lifestyle.
we will practice and experiment meditative techniques which can be practiced anywhere at any time.
methods which can be added and be an integral part of life, without the need of making extra time in our busy schedule for meditation. this is the reason why these techniques are called as well: 'meditations for busy people'.
all the methods are designed scientifically, with each step consciously worked out.
it is not about meditating with some goal or desire or any expectation. the whole secret is to allow the process to unfold. just be content to enjoy the time of meditation in itself, for itself. results will come, but only if you're not demanding that they do. we will create a climate of receptivity, openness and relaxation.

an introduction to hypnotherapy:
'the art to be happy'

most human beings long to be happy. but usually we believe that happiness is possible only when certain conditions are fulfilled - this might be a new love, a better paid job or a more beautiful appartment.
and yet, there are peopple who have all of this and still feel unhappy.
the reason is that in order to experience happiness a certain state of consciousness is needed. without this consciousness you can have all the riches of this world and still feel dissatisfied and frustrated.
together we will practice the steps of understanding and experience the meditations which can create this state of consciousness, so that you can dive into the flow of life. the goal is to accept life without fixed judgements so that all things start to shine from the inside.
this group is for all who are ready to move on this path to the inside where happiness is waiting to be discovered.

co-dependency I:

the art of relating

co-dependency means a wounded state of being. it shows itself in difficulties with love and intimacy and with expressing life energy.
the focus of the co-dependency work is to enable us to be fully alive, loving and human. it is a method of inner work to learn to no longer be negatively influenced by our past and to discover our beauty and our essence, especially when relating intimately to those we love.
we do not know how of love. we have to learn it from abc. all too often our efforts to find and sustain love result in conflict, disappointment and frustration.
we find ourselves repeating the same painful patterns over and over again.
the problem lies in our co-dependency - in the deep seated wounds we carry inside that lead to dependency or isolation.

this workshop deals with three roots of co-dependency: our wounds of shame and shock, and our fear of separation and abandonment. it uncovers the source of our conflicts and difficulties in our relationships.
through guided meditations and carefully designed sharing exercises, we will explore this wounded child inside of us - giving space for each person to connect with this delicate and hidden part of us, in his or her own way and time.
this process provides specific tools for resolving conflict, for learning to set boundaries and for expressing our needs simply and clearly.

co-dependency II:

creating trust
21 - 23 september 2007

learning to love is a process of learning to trust. our mistrust arises out of old ways of seeing ourselves, others, and the world.

we live in mistrust because of wounds that we carry from the past that have filled us with fear and self doubt. out of fear and mistrust we sabotage love with old habits like blaming, reacting, demanding, isolating, closing down or being dishonest. as a result, we feel misunderstood, rejected or lost.

our mistrust and habit of reacting to others brings unnecessary disappointment and isolation to our lives.often it is based on the past and has become obsolete.

this is a process of learning a new way of seeing ourselves and relating. it guides us out of our usual hiding places and encourages us to be open and to rebuild our trust -- both in ourselves and in others.

led by satyarthi

primal feeling-‘healing emotional wounds"

'primal' is an intensive process that aims to bring clarity into the conditioning we received during our first years of life and to heal past wounds that still contaminate our adult life. using different techniques such as regression, gestalt bodywork, breath, meditations and others, this group allows to build a bridge back to our childhood, experiencing the relief of releasing old, locked up emotions and creating space for greater maturity. we are going to do this in different steps: *we will bring clarity into the family system*we will look at the believes, the shoulds and shouldnt's we have received in childhood and how they still contaminate our life now. *we will relive and complete the emotions that the child had to cut off, either because not allowed or because simply too much for that fragile system to bear. these uncompleted emotions have become wounds, a pool of pain, and are the reason of our acting in or acting out. *we will reconnect with our wonder child, our essence, which is still there inside us, just covered up with layers of conditioning and pain. by making peace with the past, we can be in the present and face the future with a fresh attitude.

this workshopis led by 'prem shakura', therapist in the 'osho meditation resort' in pune, india. shakura studied philosophy in milano and changed her life in 1977, when she met osho and became a bodyworker, group leader and trainer in 'body awareness', 'connection body-mind', rebalancing and diamond bodywork (created by her). her experience in bodywork brought her to primal/childhood work, after noticing how during the bodywork sessions memories and emotions of childhood were triggered in people. shakura decided to go deeper into these issues and is now specialized in primal and inner child workshops. she is totally passionate about this work which has provoked a big breakthrough inside her. she feels a deep love for the child, and is happy to see what a big and lasting transformation happens in people who participate in her workshops.
her skills, professionalism, totality and unconditional love are taking her all over the world.

die before you die - el arte de morir, el arte de vivir

a sufi centring through life and death

experiments with sufi paradoxes that allow your energy to withdraw from
attachments and take you home to the very centre.

death is an organic, integral part of life. because of fear, we create a division between life and death. we cling to the past, our believes and memories, and to the future, our desires and dreams, and we experience life only mentally, losing the true reality of what we are.
to die and to be born is a sufi paradox, the understanding that death and life happens each moment. the death of what we believe we are, in its different manifestation is necessary for recognizing our true nature, so that we can become totally alive.
sufis are lovers of life, so they don't choose which aspects to celebrate, whatever life presents is a reason to celebrate. a sufi live each moment as the last, in this way the moment is unique and absolute.
each experience of life becomes a great mystery and a great adventure.
in this group we are going to experience how the energy can be liberated from attachments and identifications that creates suffering in our lives, using sufi techniques that help us to wake up our vital energy, to open, look and recognize themes and situations where we fell stagnate and tense. we will explore where we stop our energy because of fear of losing somebody or something; the fear of surrender to the unknown. we learn how to create an ambient of loving acceptance around those fears and tensions trough sufi meditations.
the energy is liberated when the relaxation of surrender starts to happen. we bring this vital energy back to our centre using chants and "zikrs", sufi technique that combining movement, breath and sounds, celebrating the beauty and the mystery of life and death.

meditation day

we will share and experience a unique day of relaxation, awareness and centering through osho meditation techniques.the meditations have been scientifically designed to enable us to consciously express and experience repressed feelings and emotions, and learn the knack of watching our habitual patterns in a new way. they provide us effective ways to release accumulated stress, allow us to find easy and natural ways to turn in, create an inner balance and stillness and clean our mind. the beauty of the inner science is that it enables whoever wants to explore and to experiment within, to do so alone after this group.

sudheer p. niet is an experienced meditator and teacher of meditation- over the past thirty years he has used many different meditation techniques and has helped hundreds of people to get the knack of meditation.
he has been on the journey of meditation with osho, the buddha of our times, who has developed a science of transformation for the modern man.
sudheer received training in self-hypnosis from dr. brian alman, a student of milton erickson, m.d., the father of modern hypnosis. he studied nlpand hypnosis at the 'stichting voor hypno-, gedrags- enverbaaltherapie' with h. hoenderdos, who trained with richard bandler, one of the developers of neuro-linguistic programming.

the past ten years, sudheer has been involved in the management of the osho international meditation resort, an oasis in pune, india, where visitors can have a direct experience of living with more alertness, relaxation and celebration as 'zorba the buddha'.
sudheer gives courses in vipassana, zazen, self-hypnosis for meditation and 'inner skills for work and life', a course to help you integrate meditation and awareness in your daily life.

self- hypnosis for meditation

self-hypnosis has been described as one of the most important tools for spiritual growth. it can be used in many areas of life. you can use it in meditation to deepen your silence. you can use it for healing, and be more relaxed and playful amid the speed and tension of the every day life. you can use self-hypnosis in a creative way that is uniquely yours. the possibilities are unlimited and it is a wonderful tool to learn. in this guided meditation we follow guidelines for self-hypnosis suggested by osho.
in this course - which meets one hour a day for seven days - you will learn to use self-hypnosis, that can help you to connect with your inner resources whenever you want.

passion for meditation

shunyo writes about "passion for meditation":
"do you ever feel that something is missing in your life, but you cannot pin-point what it is? through meditation you may uncover some destiny you have to fulfill, and through relaxed and loving awareness you have the tools to explore. passion is creative, it creates energy. it is fire. passion is life ...and it is the only way for meditation to exist.
in these days we use techniques from an ancient tantric text and osho's revolutionary methods to light that fire of passion and learn ways of integrating it into our daily lives.
marco plays live music, created specifically for this group, and this lightens any seriousness we may have about meditation. meditation is as natural an urge as sex, and like sex it has its own time. discover if it is time for you. time to move passionately and intensely in love with life through meditation."

prem shunyo was born in england and went to live in india thirty years ago to study meditation. her training in awareness happened by living in close proximity with the enlightened mystic, osho, for fourteen years as part of his personal household. every moment with osho was a lesson in awareness, as she lived with him in india, the experimental commune in america and travelled with him around the world. she wrote the book "diamond days with osho", telling about life near osho since 1974, sharing her personal experience of an ordinary life in the extraordinary silence that surrounds an enlightened master.
shunyo has been teaching meditation and sharing her insights for twelve years in australia, india, japan, taiwan, mexico and all of europe. she travels with marco, the musician who creates and plays live music specially for these meditations. he has been living and playing music in osho communes since 1979.
